1st FANUS meeting

Nutrition, Health and Human Development in Africa : Breaking the downward trend

 

Call for Abstract

Participants are invited to submit abstracts of their oral/poster presentations by  January 31, 2007. Please submit your abstract online or use the abstract submission form and e-mail to (secretariat_fanus@yahoo.fr). In addition to submitting an abstract, participants also have to register for the meeting.

 

Paper Organization

Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words written in English and of original scientific contribution. Abstracts should be typewritten, single-spaced, in 12-point font and with 1 inch margins.

Abstract title (Arial, 12 point font size, bold, text alignment left)
 Title, name(s), full address and telephone numbers of the author are mandatory. Authors should indicate which of the sub-themes their abstract falls under. Only abstracts from authors who are registered for the conference will be acknowledged and considered for oral/poster presentation.

Presenting author’s initials and surname should be Arial, 12 pt font size, bold, text alignment left), co-authors (Arial, 12pt font size, text alignment left).

Affiliation (Name of organisation/affiliation, Arial, 12 pt font size, text alignment left, if more than one affiliation, superscript numbers should be used to indicate the correct affiliation. Each author should indicate institute, city, and country. Do not include degrees or professional titles (e.g. Dr, Prof, etc).

Text: (Arial, 12 point font size, single-spaced, without boldface or italics, with left and right justification.
The abstract should contain the objectives, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion and the acknowledgements, where necessary.  
The abstract should not be itemised.
Please Note: Abstracts must not contain bibliographical references, figures or table.

Keywords: Maximum of five keywords to fill in the space designated in the form.

A notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail with oral or poster presentation guidelines and instructions.
